About Tallulah:

Tallulah is my female American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT). I got her when she was three months old. She is not registered and I do not have papers on her. It has been very fun to watch her grow up. She started out being afraid of everything and now loves everything. It all has to do with socialization. From an early age I took her walking around the neighborhoods and down alleys. On school days I would take her up to the elementary or grade schools and let the kids play with her when school let out. I also took her over to my friends houses and let her play with thier dogs so she would be friendly with dogs of all looks and sizes. We went through quite a bit of teething and she still knocks over the trash can trying to look over the fence but we forgive her for that. For now we are keeping the trash can in the garage. At three months she weighed 25 pounds and now she weighs a menacing 65! She wears a 20 inch collar and even though I've never measured she has a pretty big head. However, she is not fat and she is not short and squaty like some American Staffordshire Terriers. She is athletic and tall like the APBT. I left her ears natural because they were very springy and had a "cute" look to them. She is now 1 1/2 years old and has been through four heats and I have bred her to Ranger this July. She will probably have a large litter and you can see more info on the litter on my "Pups For Sale" page. She has a great temperment and LOVES everyone and everything she meets.
